New Poetry!

Paper Crane

From a square
To a bird

Folded wings
Creased with secrets

Colored paper, poised
For flight

A fragile reflection
Of wasted desires

All written
On paper wings

With never the strength
To carry my heart

  1. Hooray, a poem!! I LOVE to read your poetry, as you know. This one is beautiful — the word choice, the structure, and the feeling of the poem are really like a paper crane unfolding as you read it ... genius, I tell you.

The way you capture the intangible essence of things is a gift —the title of your blog says it well —the reality of imagination! That's what your poems capture, and this one is perfect example of that.
